Of the assorted clips of mine that have been unceremoniously regurgitated sans credit in creepy video mashups, crappy edits, Mexican kids’ TV (Channel 5), etc., this one has been prominent of late.
The multimedia performance “Om jag säger Om” (Donnez le si / If I Say If) celebrates the surreal and poetic work of the French writer and musician Boris Vian, who would be 100 this year. In the project, music collective Ca va jaser collaborates with composer Leif Jordansson and animator Colin Raff.
My mural, The Thickness of Floors, is now up at the Mondo Dernier Cri exhibition at the MIAM Musée International des Arts Modestes in Sète, France, where it will be on display through September.
